Studio 21 Salon & Redken Party

I had the unique opportunity to photograph a dinner party for Studio 21 Salon as they celebrate their new partnership with Redken Saks 5th Avenue! I actually learned a lot while I was there and I can tell there are great things to come for the wonderful people who work at the salon (and for their clients too!). David & Dana Engagement

If you are a fan of ours on Facebook then you've probably seen a sneak peek image from this fun engagement session already but here are a few more of my favorites.  

I met up with David & Dana at the Rave movie theater which they chose for their session because they love going to the movies together!  I had a blast being creative with such a different location & I was so happy they wanted to go somewhere with a personal meaning for them - a good thing to consider for your Engagement session too!

We can't wait to photograph their wedding at the Wynfrey Hotel in April!!

Baby Bastian is a baby no more...

He's a very active 2 year old now & we went to the playground for a fun photoshoot! We did Bastian's 1 year old photos last year & when his mom Susan (one of our gorgeous brides!) contacted me to do his 2 yr old photos I was thrilled! It was fun to watch him climb all over things & get better every time he tried, he was very brave!

The 4th photo down shows him telling us his age now with 2 fingers up, one from each hand, how cute is that!! I am most proud though of the last pic because Susan and I worked soooo hard the whole time to get him to sit on the train and wave at us & he finally did! (Thanks to some strategic snacking & lots of waving to him!) Hope you all have a great day & enjoy the preview!

Joe & Beth Engagement

Joe is one of the great DJs from Feel the Beat Entertainment that we have gotten to work with for years. When he got engaged I just knew I wanted to do some photos of him and his gorgeous bride! Their wedding theme is "bohemian" so Oak Mtn. State Park seemed like a great place to go for their session & it turned out just like I hoped! Here's a few of my favorites...

Surprise Wedding!!

I have been waiting to share this for months and FINALLY I CAN!! I went to college with the bride so this was extra special for me to photograph...

We headed up to Huntsville, AL this past weekend for Jeff & Anna Gail's "Engagement Party" at the Round House. The guests were all greeted with a cocktail hour and mingling with the happy couple until the band announced that they had decided to end the engagement... and just GET MARRIED right now!! Everyone was so excited and it all turned out just perfect!! Congrats, guys!!

The little guy is Paul, Anna Gail's son & he couldn't be happier to have his new daddy Jeff!

Girl Scouts Glamour Shots

I had the pleasure of working with some of the most fun and beautiful young ladies at my daughter's scout sleepover recently. I love getting to have a little silly fun with these girls who are such a great part of our lives! I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from the night... enjoy!

Ryan & Andrea Engagement

I headed a little south to our state's capitol of Montgomery to meet up with this sweet couple for their engagement photos. It was nice to "get out of town" for a change and photograph somewhere unfamiliar to me & its was a lot of fun working with this wonderful couple! BTW - the last photo below is how he proposed to her... with a special fortune cookie message!! How cute is that?!?!

Glenn & Christina Wedding Sneak Peak!

Tim & Alexis are Married!!

Our first wedding of 2011 was a blast! We enjoyed working with other professionals Anita Kanellis, Lillie's Flowers & Design Productions who all did such a wonderful job making the day fantastic! Tim & Alexis both dance in the annual Greek Festival here at Holy Trinity, Holy Cross so I wouldn't have expected anything less than spectacular dancing & boy did I get it! It was a perfect day for all, Congrats to the happy couple!!

Whitney & Tyler Maternity

While we focus our business on weddings & engagements, we do sometimes get to do a few other types of photography which is fun too! This is Whitney & Tyler whose wedding we photographed in 2007 & who are our cousins. I travelled up to Gadsden to meet up with them this past weekend and it's a good thing I did because they are getting ready to have their first child together tomorrow!! We are so excited for them!! It was such a pleasure to work with you guys again and we can't wait to meet Miss Addison soon!
