Laken 1st Birthday {Baby Portrait}

I had a wonderful time photographing baby Laken at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on his first birthday!  We had also photographed his big brother's first birthday and his parents' wedding so it was awesome to be able to share another special occasion with this sweet family!  Here are a few of my favorites from their session!  Happy birthday little guy :)

Heo Twins {Babies}

In 2010 we photographed a beautiful wedding day for Jessica & Hyeon at Vulcan Park - who knew that just 3 short years later I'd be getting a call to do their new TWINS 6 month baby pictures!!  It was such a compliment to be asked to do this session with Jessica & her boys (hopefully next time daddy can be there too!) and I just loved working with them!  Hope you enjoy this preview!

Baby Elizabeth

Back in 2009 we photographed Lou & Kim's beautiful wedding day & almost 2 years ago they called me back to photograph their baby boy, Daniel.  What a thrill it was last week to meet & photograph their newest baby, Elizabeth!  She was such a doll & it was so nice to see this sweet family again!  Hope you enjoy this little preview of our session!

Miss Addison & Miss Shannon

Miss Addison is my cousin's daughter & this January 2012 she will be turning 1 year old!!  I headed up to Gadsden for this fun shoot with her & all her adorable outfits and of course her very own smash cake!  We had such fun getting these photos and I have to especially thank Miss Shannon (another cousin's daughter) & her mom for helping me get these cute expressions from Miss A.  

While I was up there we also got a few quick Christmas photos of the girls too, aren't they such cuties?!

Baby Daniel

We first had the pleasure of working with Lou & Kim for their wedding photos in 2009 and now their family has grown!  I came to their lovely home to meet baby Daniel & take his 1 month old photos.  He is such a cutie pie & I just loved getting to meet him and see this sweet couple again.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from the session... enjoy!

Little Bastian

This is the third time I have photographed this sweet little man & the first time he actually noticed me there!  Haha! His mom Susan wanted a more natural look for these 2 & a half year pics so I came to Bastian's grandparents' house where he had tons of toys!  We played with trains (he even had Thomas chasing ME around on the floor!) & then he showed me his rocks outside.  After a quick snack we went back out for some swing time & racing down the hill into the grass where he had a surprise crash landing!  No worries, though, he got back up & kept rolling...  Such a cool little guy & I have loved watching him grow more with each photo session!

Baby Bastian is a baby no more...

He's a very active 2 year old now & we went to the playground for a fun photoshoot! We did Bastian's 1 year old photos last year & when his mom Susan (one of our gorgeous brides!) contacted me to do his 2 yr old photos I was thrilled! It was fun to watch him climb all over things & get better every time he tried, he was very brave!

The 4th photo down shows him telling us his age now with 2 fingers up, one from each hand, how cute is that!! I am most proud though of the last pic because Susan and I worked soooo hard the whole time to get him to sit on the train and wave at us & he finally did! (Thanks to some strategic snacking & lots of waving to him!) Hope you all have a great day & enjoy the preview!

Baby Bastian

Susan was one of our 2005 brides who wanted some 18mo photos of her beautiful baby boy. We met over at the Botanical Gardens and boy is he a cutie! He also kept me moving the whole time, it was quite a workout!! Here are some of my favorites from our session, enjoy!
