Killian + Lizzie {Love & Cheers Engagement}

Lizzie is the sister of one of our past brides so when she got engaged & gave us a call we were thrilled to work with her again! We met downtown at Morris Ave to start their session & her and Killian were so natural together - they were so easy to work with! We moved over to one of their favorite spots downtown - Avondale Brewery - to finish their session. I mean, who wouldn't want to hang out with a few brews during their engagement session?! I had a great time with these two & can't wait for their November wedding!

Mitch + Leah {Rainy Day Engagement}

Mitch & Leah are one busy couple so when it decided to rain on the day of their portrait, we just couldn't reschedule. We decided to make the best of it and luckily the wonderful folks at B&A Warehouse in downtown Birmingham let us come in from the storms for part of their session! (Thanks a million, guys!)

We did want to get some cute "rainy day" photos too so we drove over to Morris Avenue for a little stroll - the results? Well you can see for yourself, it was perfectly adorable! Hope you enjoy this little preview & thanks for stopping by!

Alec + Emily {City Romance Engagement}

These two are awesome. Not only were they so cute together strolling around Morris Avenue in downtown Birmingham, but they also let me try out doing my first Periscope broadcast live during their session! (If you want to see it, download the app & follow us @amberfordphoto)

After Morris Avenue, we drove a few blocks down to Railroad Park & did one more live broadcast, I think the second one ended up better than the first but check it out for yourself! This was the first of 2 poses we did for the Periscope - what a view!

The park really blew me away this time, it was so gorgeous! I have not been a big fan of it but I think my mind is officially changed, just look at them in this scenery!

And then the sun started setting... it was wonderful to be there with Alec & Emily and get to capture the end of such an amazing session.

Oh and to finish up, these two broke out their team gear for a little cheer-off & shaker fight (friendly, of course)! They'll have a house divided on Iron Bowl day but I think they can make it work, haha!

Michael + Laura {Downtown Engagement}

Laura & Michael met up with me this past weekend for their engagement session in downtown Birmingham, AL. They were such naturals together in front of the camera, it's hard to believe this was their first professional session together! We had so much fun walking around Railroad Park and Morris Avenue & I can't wait for their 4th of July wedding!!
