I had tons of fun exploring Moss Rock Preserve last weekend with this new 4 year old!  It took him a little while to warm up to me but soon we were climbing rocks & crossing rivers together!  Hope you enjoy this preview & Happy Birthday, Bastian!!

Hageman Sisters {Portrait}

Meet the Hageman sisters!  These three cuties met me at the Botanical Gardens the other day for some fun & a few photos!  Their mom is my sorority "Big sis" so I guess you could kinda say they are my "nieces" or the closest I'll have to it :)  Anyhow, I am so glad we had the afternoon to run around the gardens together & get these great moments of them, they are truly awesome girls!  Hope you enjoy the preview!

Girl Scouts Glamour Shots

I had the pleasure of working with some of the most fun and beautiful young ladies at my daughter's scout sleepover recently. I love getting to have a little silly fun with these girls who are such a great part of our lives! I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from the night... enjoy!

Happy Fourth of July!!

A special blog post to share some unexpected photos with you from last night. We were at Smith Lake for Brian & Kristi's wedding when the neighbors shot fireworks right behind them while we were taking some night photos!!

The other two photos were the most unexpected of the night. As we were driving home we came up to a bridge going over the lake and the marina was doing a fireworks show! We stopped on the side of the road and caught the end of it all but what was even more impressive than the fireworks were all the boats on the water watching...they lit up the water for as far as you could see, it was incredible!!!! So thanks for looking and hope you are all enjoying your holiday!

Merry Christmas!!

We are in Kansas City, MO for xmas this year and lucky us, we got a white Christmas!! Our daughter, Leah has never seen snow before so she was super excited! Yesterday she made a snowman, snow angel, snow fort and had a snowball fight! Here she is with the snowman and enjoying the snow. Hope you and yours have a great holiday... see you in a week!

Greetings from Disney World!

If you've been wondering where we've been, we are on a family vacation at Disney World! Leah (our daughter, 6) had never been before and we had a weekend off (finally! haha!) and decided to take her for her first trip here! We should be back early next week so I will be getting back to everyone ASAP when we come home! I hope everyone's having a great week and we'll see you all soon!!

Our First Anniversary :)

Well Sunday was our first anniversary so we went back up to Vulcan Park (where we got married) for a few quick photos before heading out to celebrate! We also ate some of our cake from our wedding... you might be thinking yuck but it was actually pretty good! I told Lori (who got married Saturday, see below) I would write about the cake thing and let her know, so there you go, Rubbermaid Tupperware does work for cake in the freezer!!

BTW - I included a photo of the cakes before so you can see the big difference a year makes!

If anyone out there has a good/funny story about their first anniversary cake experience I would love to hear it!
