Trey & Brandy are Married!

It was a gorgeous day out at Mtn. View Gardens & Ballroom on May 8, 2010 when this awesome couple got married! We had a great time sharing the day with them and their family and friends, here are a few of our favorite pics!

Norman & Brittney Engagement

I met up with this sweet couple out at Oak Mtn State Park a few weeks ago. We had perfect weather to explore the park in and were almost the only ones there too! I had a great time getting to know them more and cannot wait to photograph their wedding in June!!

Kevin & Niki are Married!

On the first day of May this beautiful couple got married at WorkPlay in downtown Birmingham, AL. Although the rain threatened us all day, it held out for the most part long enough for us to get a few great shots outside! They had a sweet candlelight ceremony followed by a fun reception with delicious food by Happy Catering. Here are some of my favorite shots!

DJ Tré Photoshoot

We were honored to be asked to do another DJ's photos for Feel the Beat Entertainment. DJ Tré wanted a more gritty look to his photos so we met down at The Nick then headed over to the Lakeview District to get these shots. I learned that Tré is also a musician, as you can see from the guitar in the photo, and he's quite good from what I heard. Check out Tré for all your entertaining needs!

DJ Justin Photoshoot

We were recently asked to do a photoshoot with a local DJ from Feel the Beat Entertainment for their website. We met up with Justin at Alabama Adventure for a really fun-filled shoot complete with roller coaster rides! Check out our favorite photos and check out Justin for your next party!!

Brian & Kristi Engagement

I met up with Brian & Kristi over at Mt. Laurel on a beautiful May day. We had a fun time exploring the area and even hiked down to the lake for some great shots! Here are a few of my favorites...

Cliff & Lindsay are Married!!

On April 24, 2010 we traveled up to Culman, AL for Cliff & Lindsay's wedding at First Baptist Church. They had a sweet ceremony and though storms passed through all day, everyone was all smiles as they headed to The Rotunda for the reception. I had to include a photo of the groom's unusual cake as it was a replica of his boot, complete with "raisin flies" on the side! Here are a few other favorites!

Derrick & Laura Engagement

I had a great time at the Botanical Gardens with Derrick & Laura! We found some out of the way beautiful spots to work in and I think the shoot turned out awesome! Looking forward to their wedding later this month!!

I met up with this sweet couple at the Botanical Gardens on a pretty busy weekend, prom kids and wedding guests were abundant there that day! We ventured over to some less crowded parts of the gardens and got some awesome pics, here's my favs. We are looking forward to their wedding in August!!

Daniel & Shannon are Married!!

On April 10, 2010 we spent the day with Shannon & Daniel at the Vestavia Hills UMC, the church I grew up attending. They were wed in the beautiful Rutland Memorial Chapel among friends and family. Everyone then traveled downtown to a private residence for a fun backyard reception complete with Jim & Nick's BBQ. It was such a perfect day, here are some of our favorites!

Nicky & Rachelle Engagement

Last week we had some beautiful weather and I was so happy to not waste it sitting at home! Instead I went out and met up with Nicky & Rachelle at Jemison Park and we got these great shots! Avoiding the snakes (yes, I got pretty close to one, eek!!) we even ventured down to the river for Nicky to "reteach" Rachelle how to skip rocks, too cute! I can hardly wait to photograph their wedding in August...

Aaron & Kari Engagement

It's been a while since I've posted here and I am happy to get back in the swing of things with new portraits!! I met up with Kari & Aaron at Morris Ave where they live and we had a great time walking around finding some cool new spots to shoot at. We ended the shoot at their building with some shouting from the rooftops - literally! It was such a blast and we can't wait to photograph their wedding in September!!

Clay & Melissa are Married!!

Clay & Melissa were married in a beautiful ceremony at Asbury UMC on March 13, 2010. They had a fabulous reception at the Vestavia Country Club with the band Z & The Party Factory jamming them into the night! Here are a few favs!
