Tanya & Bennett are married!!

On January 9, 2010 we met up with this wonderful couple at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL for their beautiful ceremony. We then traveled downtown to a new location for us, Woodrow Hall for their fun reception with DJ Carlos with Total Entertainment and gorgeous florals from Flowerstems. A special thanks to Kerri Kelly Weddings for being so helpful with making the day so special for Tanya & Bennett!

Fernando & Elizabeth are Married!!

Only day 2 of a new year and we already have our first happily married couple!! Fernando & Elizabeth were united at St. Francis Xavier Church in Birmingham, AL on January 2, 2010. They had a beautiful reception at Flowerstems loft downtown where Jamm Entertainment helped them dance the night away! Hope you guys are enjoying your tropical honeymoon (better than the cooooold temps here at home!!)

Congrats, Joey & Beth!

On December 19, 2009 we did our final wedding of the year, and what a wedding to end with! This is Mary & Joseph getting married a week before Christmas... yes, you heard right, Mary & Joseph! They had a beautiful ceremony at Holmes Ave Methodist in Huntsville, AL with a high-energy reception at the Round House to follow! We had a great time and wish them both the very best! Cheers!

Congrats, Michael & Katie!

December 5, 2009 was an exciting day! We all woke up to snow on the ground, which is unusual for Birmingham, AL in December. It was short lived but made for some beautiful scenery at The Club where we started our day with Katie. If that wasn't exciting enough, the SEC Championship game was also being played that day so of course Michael was watching that with his guys. The day ended, though, with the most exciting thing... Katie & Michael were married!! Congrats, guys! Hope you enjoy the photos!

Dabbs Family

A few weekends ago I had a chance to do a very different type of photography than normal for me...Family Portraits! I met up with Joel, Joyce & their boys over at the Botanical gardens for some very fun shooting for their family and for their youngest one's 1 yr old photos! It was a blast getting to do something different and I think they turned out pretty good! Here's some of my favs!

Congrats, Matt & Heather!

They say if a ladybug lands on you it will bring good luck... if that's true then this couple should have tons of it! There were ladybugs galore all around us at American Village in Montevallo, AL so we thought it would be cute to get one of these lucky buggers to pose with the rings for us - kind of our own "good luck" to the couple! We had a great time with Matt & Heather & their families, hope St. Lucia is treating you guys well!

Ryan & Erica Engagement

Meet the inspiration for the new knot on our sites... Ryan & Erica had this great idea for their photos to use a rope to show they were "tying the knot" and I thought it was so much fun! They were great to work with at the park downtown and we can't wait to shoot their wedding in May 2010!!

Congrats, Bradford & Leslie!

On October 17, 2009 the weather turned cold on us but luckily we were inside the beautiful Christ Church UMC for Bradford & Leslie's ceremony. For their reception we all travelled downtown to the Matt Jones Art Gallery. It was a picture perfect spot to dance and mingle among some pretty amazing artwork! Hope you guys like the pics!

Congrats, Keith & Abby!!

The rainy day didn't stop us from having a great time with Keith & Abby on October 10, 2009! They had a beautiful ceremony at Riverchase UMC and a very posh "Miami club" reception at The Altamont School downtown. It was such a wonderful day and we are happy to have been a part of it, congrats!!

Congrats, Geoff & Ashley!!

On September 26th we headed up north to Huntsville, AL for the day to hang out with Geoff and Ashley for their wedding! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it rained for most of the day but we still managed to get some great shots at the Westin before heading over to the Armory Chapel for the Ceremony! We then drove over to the Officer's Club for quite a fun reception, these two love to dance! Thanks for having us there, guys!

September 19, 2009 started out a bit rainy but by the time 6pm rolled around it was beautiful for David & Michelle's tear-filled ceremony at Gabrella Manor. We had a wonderful day with them and hope that they have a long happy marriage! Here are a few favorite images from their day.

Congrats, Alan & Julie!

Such a sweet couple, Alan & Julie were married at Southside Baptist Church downtown with perfect weather! Everyone then went over to the Doubletree Hotel to dance the night away! Alan is a fire-fighter with Birmingham and arranged to have his fire engine be their "get-away" vehicle!! It was quite an end to the night! Here's some of my favorite pics!

Mark & Caroline had a beautiful hot summer day for their wedding at Mountain Chapel UMC in Hoover, AL. Their fun-filled reception was held at Pine Tree Country Club where everyone danced the night away to the awesome band Nationwide Coverage! Hope you guys enjoy the photos!

Congrats, Wade & Lauren!

This was such a sweet & loving couple! They were married in a beautiful ceremony at Shades Mtn. Baptist Church officiated by Wade's father. We managed to get them to the reception at The Preserve in Hoover, AL right before the sky opened up on us! It poured for a while but the party continued as everyone kicked off their shoes and danced in the mud, haha!! We had a great time and hope they are enjoying a wonderful honeymoon!
